As a grassroots, community-sourced initiative, Charleston's local tech community lies at the heart of everything that happens at the Digital Corridor. It is this fruitful engagement and collaboration that informs all our initiatives and has created the tech-friendly business environment that is leading to our tech economy growing well above the national average.

The Digital Corridor engages in a range of business, social and education related programs and events to continually nurture our vibrant tech community.

Charleston Free Wi-Fi

While we want you to relax and enjoy the beautiful parks that Charleston has to offer, we also want you to stay connected. Thanks to an initial community grant from Google, the Charleston Free Wi-Fi initiative was launched in February 2012 at Marion Square Park. Since then, companies and individuals have sponsored additional parks across the city including locations in Downtown Charleston, North Charleston and West Ashley.

Flagship Artist Gallery

The Digital Corridor supports Charleston's visual arts community through the Flagship Gallery where local artists are invited to display and sell their work. We host a quarterly artist reception to introduce the newest exhibiting artist and invite Corridor members and community art lovers to attend.

Outreach Events

In addition to hosting our own community-driven events, the Digital Corridor is pleased to support external events that are likewise directly beneficial to the growth of Charleston's tech economy. Our support can range from social media promotion, to providing meeting facilities and even monetary sponsorships and contributions.
