As a grassroots, community-sourced initiative, Charleston's local tech community lies at the heart of everything that happens at the Digital Corridor. It is this fruitful engagement and collaboration that informs all our initiatives and has created the tech-friendly business environment that is leading to our tech economy growing well above the national average.

The Digital Corridor engages in a range of business, social and education related programs and events to continually nurture our vibrant tech community.

We are actively seeking both donations and applicants for this important new initiative.

The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program is designed to help tech-focused startups navigate the tricky parts of starting and scaling their business, from fundraising and hiring to staying on top of the latest industry trends and best practices by connecting them with a highly successful and experienced entrepreneur.

Charleston Free Wi-Fi

While we want you to relax and enjoy the beautiful parks that Charleston has to offer, we also want you to stay connected. Thanks to an initial community grant from Google, the Charleston Free Wi-Fi initiative was launched in February 2012 at Marion Square Park. Since then, companies and individuals have sponsored additional parks across the city including locations in Downtown Charleston, North Charleston and West Ashley.
