Benefitfocus Release

Technology Leader Hosts Free Events for HR and Benefits Professionals in 16 U.S. Cities

Charleston, S.C. – August 4, 2011 – The Benefitfocus City Tour begins this month in San Francisco and Houston, kicking off a series of special events showcasing a new way for companies to manage their benefits with the latest cloud-based technology. Designed for HR executives and benefits professionals, each stop on the Benefitfocus City Tour features benefit strategy sessions, live software demos, testimonials from Benefitfocus clients and a cocktail reception or lunch for guests to network with their fellow industry experts. The City Tour will visit 16 major U.S. cities in 2011 and 2012.

Open Enrollment is already the busiest time of year for most HR professionals, and it's not getting any easier. Legislation and economic pressures dictate plan design changes, new administrative processes and greater emphasis on employee education and responsibility. Benefitfocus City Tour attendees learn how the latest apps, enrollment technology, reporting tools and multi-media communication are solving these challenges for more than 300,000 Benefitfocus clients. Highlights include special guests from Cognizant, Morganite Industries and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW), case studies from companies ranging in size from 1,000 to 500,000 employees and strategies from PHR-certified benefits and technology specialists from Benefitfocus.
