A Charleston-based alternative energy company has raised $150 million from an investment group that includes a former U.S. Treasury chief to further its goal of increasing the use of solar power across the country.

Palmetto Clean Technology Inc. said March 6, 2023 that it plans to use the proceeds to expand its software and services platform to more commercial and residential users. Read more:
