Charleston-based Accounting Startup Ceterus Raises $6 Million in Investments

The Charleston accounting startup Ceterus says it has raised $6 million in a bid to expand its automated bookkeeping services.

The announcement comes just over a year after Ceterus pulled in its first round of investments, a $4.2 million haul intended to fuel its transition from a traditional accounting business to a technology-fueled startup.

The pair of investments places the company among the best-funded startups in the Lowcountry's emerging startup scene. Ceterus, which is headquartered on the upper peninsula, now has about 100 employees, nearly four times its size this time last year. Read more HERE.
