SPARC Awarded a Third Pillar Contract

Charleston, SC-- January 29, 2013--SPARC, LLC has been awarded a Decision Superiority (DS) Preferred Small Business Set-Aside Pillar. SPARC won this pillar along with twelve other companies, with a total award of $98,000,000.

The DS contract calls for electronics and communications services in support of mission capabilities. The services will be associated with the command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) needs of the warfighter. The goal of the contract is to provide services that offer the logistical and planning capabilities necessary to carry out successful missions and optimize decision-making tasks.

"We are excited for this new opportunity to contribute to C5ISR needs. As part of this contract, we'll be working to deliver improved analytical battle intelligence capability for the warfighter, facilitating communication systems between groups and providing tools to enhance strategic decision-making. SPARC has now been awarded a total of three Pillars contracts. The Business and Force Support Pillar, includes providing the ability to execute mission essential business operations and other business and force support functions. The second award, the Integrated Cyber Operations Pillar, involves delivering capabilities to operate, secure, and defend the network and data.
