Digital Corridor Companies Sweep 2013 iFive:K Sponsorships

Charleston Digital Corridor Release

Charleston, South Carolina - October 9, 2012 - The Charleston Digital Corridor is pleased to announce the sponsor lineup for the 2013 Innovators' 5k (iFive:K). Confirmed sponsors include Comcast Business Class (title sponsor), Benefitfocus, Blackbaud, Blue Acorn, BoomTown, SLANT Media, BiblioLabs, eGroup, PeopleMatter, CarePoint and SPARC. This is the first year, since the event was launched in 2007, that all financial support for the iFive:K has come from Digital Corridor member companies.

The Digital Corridor's iFive:K has quickly become a favorite athletic and networking event for Charleston's knowledge economy, selling out weeks before the event and getting its own dedicated Vimeo Channel. The 2013 iFive:K is scheduled for 6:30pm on April 18th, 2013.

"The hallmark of any successful community is the active participation in events and contribution by its members towards achieving something only possible by them as a group - the iFive:K does that," said Digital Corridor Director Ernest Andrade.

"The tremendous effort by the Charleston Digital Corridor to bring our technology companies together for an evening of spirited competition and networking to benefit STEM education in my community makes our sponsorship and participation in the iFive:K one of my favorite annual events," said Blue Acorn Founder and CEO Kevin Eichelberger.

Other sponsors for the 2013 iFive:K include the City of Charleston, Knight Printing and Graphics, The Bridge at 105.5, The Foot Store and Clambank Construction.
