DIG South Announces Partnership with Charleston Regional Development Alliance and Charleston Digital Corridor

Organizations will co-sponsor "Upload Charleston: Welcome to Silicon Harbor" event on April 12, 2013

(Charleston, SC) – The DIG SOUTH Interactive Festival is pleased to announce a partnership with the Charleston Regional Development Alliance (CRDA) and Charleston Digital Corridor. Both organizations will sponsor and co-host the opening conference event, "Upload Charleston: Welcome to Silicon Harbor," on Friday, April 12, 2013 in the garden and brick way surrounding the Charleston Children's Museum at 25 Ann Street.

"Upload Charleston" will kickoff DIG SOUTH by spotlighting innovative companies and entrepreneurs across the regional knowledge economy. Guests will have the opportunity to network, meet presenters, learn about the Charleston Digital Corridor and CRDA, and grab registration packets for the conference, expo and sideshow events. "Upload Charleston" will feature excellent craft beers from six regional breweries, entertainment, special announcements, giveaways and more.

DIG SOUTH is the premier event celebrating the Southeastern knowledge economy. Held April 12–14, 2013 at the College of Charleston TD Arena, Charleston Music Hall and other venues on the Charleston peninsula, DIG SOUTH will include an interactive conference, a creative and technology industry expo, plus a sideshow highlighting music, comedy improv and the arts.
