Online Data Management Firm Expands into Charleston Market

Staff Report  /  Charleston Regional Business Journal

Good Done Great, an online data management firm that specializes in serving nonprofits, grant makers and corporate-giving programs, has taken over an office in Charleston's Flagship building, located at 475-A East Bay St.

Good Done Great's grant management system was rated as the top-scoring product out of 20 products assessed in the 2011 Consumers Guide to Grants Management Software.

Currently, more than 100 foundations rely on Good Done Great's grant and scholarship management online solutions to facilitate the submission process and identify the best applicants.

The expansion to Charleston is driven by the company's desire to attract top talent, officials said.

"Creating a physical presence in Charleston is a big step for us because of the high concentration of talented people with nonprofit and foundation technology expertise," said David Barach, the company's executive director.

Good Done Great said it specifically sees its location within the Flagship as a key to staying close to Charleston's Digital Corridor network of like-minded professionals and resource partners.

"It is important to us to establish our presence in a professional environment that can accommodate our growth. The Flagship provides opportunities to expand into other office spaces without having to physically move the company," said Earl Bridges, Good Done Great's executive vice president.
