PeopleMatter Grew Exponentially in 2011

PeopleMatter Release

CHARLESTON, S.C., JAN. 5, 2012 –During 2011, PeopleMatter experienced phenomenal growth, seeing exponential increase in the number of customers and units added to the PeopleMatter Platform. The percentages of growth PeopleMatter experienced over the year include:

  • Growing the customer base by more than 400 percent by adding clients such as Applebee's franchises (e.g. Applesauce, LLC), Boloco, Noodles & Company, Ruby Tuesday, Flash Foods, Parker's, Ricker Oil Company and Fiesta Mart.
  • Increasing the number of units (locations) served through each customer by 700 percent.
  • Increasing the number of applications submitted through the PeopleMatter Platform by more than 66 percent on average each month.

Founded in 2009, PeopleMatter launched the core product, PeopleMatter HIRE™ in the fall of 2010. HIRE laid the foundation for service industry clients to easily adopt a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) model to efficiently hire and onboard high-caliber talent. This year's explosive growth solidified the PeopleMatter vision – to build the only comprehensive talent management platform specifically designed to meet the unique needs associated with hiring, training, scheduling and engaging hourly employees in the service industry.

"A few years ago we started building the framework for PeopleMatter. Then we launched our product and added a handful of customers," stated Nate DaPore, PeopleMatter President & Chief Executive Officer. "Now we are transforming the service industry – one customer at a time. We are extremely pleased to see the foodservice, convenience store, hospitality and retail verticals readily embrace and partner with PeopleMatter."

In May 2011, PeopleMatter launched the second module in the PeopleMatter PlatformPeopleMatter LEARN™. Trends show a 300 percent growth in online courses loaded into the system since the launch. And with the launch of PeopleMatter SCHEDULE™ slated for Feb. 2012, existing customers and industry leaders are eagerly waiting for the value and efficiencies this product will bring to their operations.

As Jenny Bullard, Flash Foods Chief Information Officer shared, "With PeopleMatter we've experienced success in three core areas since launching the solutions in June of 2011. First, by hiring better-qualified people our turnover has decreased. Secondly, we have streamlined the hiring and onboarding process and integrated that to our payroll application, which eliminated costly labor hours in our retail operations and human resource department. And thirdly, we have doubled our tax credit savings in only six months over what we totaled last year."
