Software company moving headquarters to Charleston

Staff Report  /  Charleston Regional Business Journal

Software company Fanzter Inc. is relocating its headquarters from Collinsville, Conn., to Charleston.

CEO Aaron LaBerge said the company, which designs and develops consumer-focused mobile and Web products, chose South Carolina because its business environment is friendly to e-commerce.

"We wanted to move our company to a city where we could grow our business and have a great quality of life," LaBerge said. "Charleston gave us the best combination of friendly business environment, growing technology community and a quality of life that is unmatched."
The company will be based in the Flagship 2, part of the Charleston Digital Corridor that focuses on helping companies that are relocating get up and running.
