The event, presented by Comcast Business Class and the Charleston Digital Corridor, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 21. The race ends at the Charleston Maritime Center with an after-party. Registration before April 1 is $25 and $30 thereafter. Race registration includes a T-shirt and the after-party with food and beverages. There will be no race-day registrations.

Teams can register in groups of two, six or 10. This year, the leading runner in the top team for each category will receive a $500 credit toward a professional certification from Infotec. Prizes also are awarded to the top three male and female runners and top three male and female runners in each age category.

Race participates who want to start training for the iFive:K can participate in three wellness runs sponsored by eGroup. Each session will be lead by personal trainer Tyler Cross of the TrySports Racing Team and conclude with Domino's pizza and drinks. The events are limited to 15 people. There is no fee to participate in the wellness runs, but participants must be registered for the 2011 iFive:K. Visit www.ifivek.com.

Charleston Digital Corridor scholarships help students in a technology-related field. For the second year in a row, ECPI College of Technology will provide two matching scholarships for students pursuing a technology degree at the college.
