Innovative Software Company Freezes Inefficiency in HR with Its PeopleMatter Hire? 2011 Winter Release

PeopleMatter Release

**CHARLESTON, S.C. – Jan. 26, 2011 – **PeopleMatter, a leading provider of talent management solutions for the service industry, announced today the deployment of its PeopleMatter Hire™ 2011 Winter Release. The module upgrades include a sleek new interface, integrated onboarding tools and several additional new features and enhancements for both the application and onboarding processes. Hire is part of PeopleMatter's suite of SaaS-based (Software-as-a-Service), automated HR technology tools that help service-industry businesses hire, schedule and engage their workforces.

Updates to Hire in the application process include improved filtering, easier communication with candidates, the ability to make bulk changes and bolstered security features. These additions save managers time and help find the right candidate "fit" with powerful search and filtering capabilities to sort by specific criteria. Additionally, enriched communication features allow managers to easily identify new applicants, request interviews and view responses to questions in a centralized system, and upgraded security measures protect documents with the industry's highest standards. The Winter Release also enhances the applicant's user experience with geo-location features, the ability to upload a résumé, and status tracking for all open applications.

With the 2011 Winter Release, Hire now includes an onboarding component that allows administrative roles to manage all mandatory, common and company-specific new-hire tasks electronically, in a single, integrated workspace. Required paperwork, such as I-9 and W-4 forms, are prepopulated with information collected during the application process, and employees can e-sign all documents–-a legally-binding electronic signature that eliminates the need for paperwork. Hire coordinates communication with new employees to ensure they start the process immediately and complete all necessary steps, and an interactive dashboard keeps track of new employees and their start dates.

"Our Winter Release updates build on the powerful Hire platform with new features that save our customers time and help them find more qualified, service-minded employees faster, in an industry where the customer experience is paramount," said Ken Haigh, PeopleMatter senior vice president of technology. "Hire's practical tools, combined with our revolutionary vision for a social, engaged workplace and advanced software architecture, provide the best user experience and the most advanced software platform ever for the service industry. Our learning and scheduling modules, set for release in Spring '11, will continue to drive innovation in the HR technology field and further our customers' dedication to delivering great customer service."

PeopleMatter first released Hire in September 2010. Hire features an online application form, robust applicant tracking system (ATS), onboarding and offboarding components that allow employers to quickly and easily identify, track and hire qualified, service-minded people, and ensure employees are fully "closed out" when leaving. Applications such as tax credit processing, hiring assessments and background checks can be embedded within the hiring process for a seamless candidate experience, and to help employers screen for better quality, customer-service focused employees.

PeopleMatter continues to rapidly develop products to transform talent management in the service industry, with plans to launch learning and scheduling modules in Spring 2011 as part of the PeopleMatter product ecosystem.
