ShipComm Announces Appointments of New COO & Senior Management

ShipComm Release

June 1, 2010 - Charleston SC: - Shippers Commonwealth ("ShipComm"), the leader in collaborative logistics automation programs, is pleased to announce the following new additions to its leadership team:

Dawn Salvucci-Favier has joined ShipComm to serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Vice President. As COO, she will be responsible for directing the key operating functions of the Company (including products, projects, and services). Dawn joins the Company from her long track record of success as product director and thought leader in the Transportation Management Systems ("TMS") market, including as Vice President – Transportation & Logistics Solutions and senior director for product management at JDA Software and Manugistics (predecessor company, now part of JDA along with i2 Technologies) since 2000. In these senior leadership roles, she developed corporate product strategy and managed its execution with product development, professional services, and sales and marketing teams on large-scale basis. Prior to this, she served as principal in supply chain and transportation management at Staples and TJ Maxx in the retail sectors. She is an active member of VICS, CSCMP, and APICS, and is highly regarded in the industry as expert speaker and author on automated transportation improvement programs.

The Delivery & Services and Systems & Software Engineering teams will report directly to Dawn as COO. She will be based in the Company's Charleston SC office, reporting to Robert Shagawat, CEO and President of ShipComm.

Diversified Search Odgers Berndtson conducted the retained executive search for the Company COO, culminating in the selection of Ms. Salvucci-Favier for this key leadership position.

"We are delighted to have Dawn bring her portfolio of achievements to our firm in joining our executive team as COO", says Robert Shagawat, CEO of ShipComm, adding that "Dawn will be working with me and our associates to expand and advance the Company to the next level of success in driving solution programs that benefit our clients".

Chad Stange has joined ShipComm as Director – TMS Programs. In this senior project management role, he will be responsible for major TMS program rollouts from planning to execution. He joins the Company from his career of significant achievements as Senior Corporate Transportation Manager at Graphic Packaging International (GPI) and previously at Johns Manville (JM), where he was key to establishing centralized load control center programs for these large-scale shippers as powered by end-to-end TMS programs (both firms are clients of ShipComm). He also played a pivotal role in the Caravan Network consortium (multi-shipper load linking network formed and operated by ShipComm principals) from 2004 – 2006, concurrent with his corporate transportation management tenure at JM.

Among his initial assignments will be serving as Dedicated Project Manager for the USMC MCX TMS program in conjunction with LandAir as ShipComm client. He is based in Atlanta GA, reporting to Shelley Claus, Senior Vice President – Delivery & Services of ShipComm.

"We are very pleased to welcome Chad to our group as long-term key collaborator and change agent", states Shelley Claus, SVP of ShipComm, adding that "his proven ability to lead the charge in deploying enterprise TMS programs across complex environments will add further firepower to our delivery and expansion programs for our customers."
