April 22, 2010 Event Promises Even More

Charleston, SC – February 18, 2010 - The Charleston Digital Corridor will host its fourth annual iFive:k on April 22, 2010 at 6:30pm. This year's event will continue offering runners, walkers and shufflers the popular scenic race route, custom race t-shirts, cool prizes, team opportunities to vie for the coveted "Bragging Rights Trophy" and the much anticipated after-party at the Charleston Maritime Center on the harbor.

Fitness enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and visitors will enjoy more this spring. The post-race celebration has its first Entertainment Sponsor – Digital Corridor member, PeopleMatter. The PeopleMatter Band will perform live starting at 6:45pm. "We're thrilled with our festive role as post-race entertainers. Along with running shoes, we hope people bring their dancing shoes," said Nate DaPore, PeopleMatter CEO.

The i5k's Wellness Sponsor, eGroup, will host three training sessions prior to April 22nd. Karl Walsh, 2009's overall i5k winner (with a time of 16:18), will lead the first session on March 10, 2010 at 6:00pm. Each session is limited to 15 people and will start at the Flagship.
