CHARLESTON, S.C., June 2, 2008 - eThority, a company delivering powerful business intelligence through a user-obvious interface, announced that Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) is using eThority's Enterprise Edition business intelligence solution.

CVMBS implemented the web-based software to simplify the extensive reporting required by grant recipients, and will extend it to its seven colleges. CVMBS will realize a $600,000 annual decrease in staff costs by using Enterprise Edition.

A complex in-house data warehouse had solved their problem of integrating data sources, but only IT staff could utilize it. With 1,100 employees and a $150 million operating budget, IT could not cope with the pace of reporting and looked to eThority for a solution that could be used more widely.

With Enterprise Edition, all college staff can now access data without training and create visually stunning reports quickly. Prior to implementing Enterprise Edition, CVMBS' accounting staff spent three weeks a month reconciling financial reports against 1,800 accounts to track grant monies. The process now takes one hour and is almost fully automated. This trimmed the annual reporting budget by 80% to approximately $150,000, providing savings which far exceeded the cost of the solution.
