DLO Updates Transdock Family of FM Transmitters

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO)TM, a trademark of the Philips Group, today announced a family-wide update to its TransDockTM line of FM transmitters and car chargers for the iPod.

Compatible with all new iPod models, the TransDock, TransDock micro and TransDock Classic now feature DLO's new IntelliTune technology. With the click of a button, IntelliTune automatically scans for the clearest FM frequencies on which to broadcast iPod playback. Once locked-in to a clear frequency, the user is instructed, via the unit's display screen, to tune their radio to the corresponding station.

The TransDock, TransDock micro and TransDock Classic are available from select iPod retailers for $99.99, $59.99 and $79.99 respectively.

TransDock The distinctive, refined design of the new TransDock was created to complement the sleekness of the newer iPod models. Its flexible charging arm ensures that the transmitter will fit seamlessly into most car interiors. Like its predecessor, the TransDock not only allows users to broadcast iPod music through the FM stereo, but also includes an AV-Out port that enables users to enjoy their iPod video content through most in-car video systems (with appropriate AV cable).

Additionally, the TransDock includes an Aux-In port that enables users to transmit other audio devices via the TransDock. The TransDock securely cradles and charges the iPod, and gives users full control of volume settings directly from the car's console. For iPod touch users who prefer a horizontal view, the TransDock rotates for both horizontal or vertical orientation. A support bracket is included that allows users to keep the iPod touch secure while the TransDock is rotated.

TransDock micro Also featuring an updated design is the TransDock micro. Its unique, dial-based interface enables easy, one-handed operation. Using the dial, users can simply and intuitively adjust the TransDock micro settings, as well as tune the frequency. A quick push of the center dial activates the IntelliTune feature for instant frequency scanning. Like all DLO transmitters, the TransDock micro charges the iPod as it transmits, ensuring that users arrive at their destination fully charged.

The TransDock micro is available immediately from select retailers for $59.99 and will be available in the coming weeks on dlo.com.

**TransDock Classic **Based on DLO's previous award-winning TransPod, the TransDock Classic has been updated to ensure complete compatibility with all new iPod models. Like the TransDock and TransDock micro, TransDock Classic also includes IntelliTune. The DLO TransDock Classic transmits iPod music over the car's stereo, charges the iPod while it transmits, and securely mounts and cradles the iPod.

TransDock Classic is available from select iPod retailers for $79.99 and will be available on dlo.com in the coming weeks.
