Charleston, SC, January 17, 2008 - The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation is pleased to name the 2008 Board of Directors and welcomes both newly appointed and returning Directors.

"The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation's success would not be possible without the tremendous leadership of our Board of Directors," stated Ernest Andrade, Director of the Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation. "The Board is committed to supporting the foundation's effort to strengthen Charleston's economy through diversity and the growth of knowledge-based enterprises."

The Digital Corridor Board will be led by Chair Kirk King, President and CEO, CSS; Vice-Chair Jonathan Alba, Chief Operating Officer, JSJ Pharmaceuticals and Secretary/Treasurer Alan St. Clair, President, Lead Dog Properties.

New Board members include Jonathan Butler, Co-founder, Automated Trading Desk and Jonathan Alba, Chief Operating Officer, JSJ Pharmaceuticals.

The new Board members are joined by returning Board members Daniel Dechert President and CEO, NanoScreen; Chip Hood, Executive Director, MUSC Foundation for Research Development; and the Honorable Joseph P. Riley, Jr., Mayor, City of Charleston.

This distinguished group provides the foundation with a wealth of entrepreneurial business experience, financial support and first hand industry insight, elements that are critical to the successful development of the Charleston's knowledge economy.
