Charles River Laboratories Announces a New Facility in Korea to Provide Endosafe Products and Services

Charles River Laboratories International (NYSE:CRL) proudly announces the establishment of Charles River Endosafe Korea. Effective May 1, 2007, Endosafe products will be sold and supported directly by the new, wholly owned Korean operation.

The focus of Endosafe Korea's scientific staff will be to promote and ensure regulatory compliance, to expand sales of Endosafe products in Korea, and to provide enhanced and focused technical service and support for our Asian customers. The new Korean facility will directly supply Endosafe products ensuring customers rapid product availability and direct communication with the supplier. Customers will also receive technical support with response to questions provided by in-house experts with extensive experience running LAL assays and performing laboratory testing.

Hongjin Min will be the Managing Director of the operation. Mr. Min is known throughout the Asian countries for his extensive knowledge of endotoxins and LAL test methods. He has been a prominent speaker at numerous training workshops and has provided a range of hands-on training courses to customers.
