Chazzfest Reveals Presenting Sponsor of New Music Festival

DLO Release

Company Officials Note

CHARLESTON, SC - The nation's leading producer of iPod and digital music player accessories today announced that it will be the presenting sponsor of ChazzFest, a new music festival launching in Charleston on September 16. Organizers today also released the festival's performance schedule.

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (www.dlo.com) has agreed to serve as presenting sponsor of ChazzFest (www.chazzfest.com) for its first two years. "DLO is all about making music fit into our customers' digital lifestyles," said company CEO Jeff Grady. "As music lovers ourselves, we are excited to help bring world-class music and artists to our hometown of Charleston, SC by presenting ChazzFest."

Andrew Green, Vice President of Marketing and Creative Director for DLO, noted that the affiliation with ChazzFest is one of the company's first forays into music festival sponsorship. The five-year-old company moved its headquarters to Charleston in 2004. "Our customers enjoy all kinds of music. When we saw the diverse, high caliber lineup that ChazzFest was bringing to the Southeast, we knew it was a perfect fit for our mission."

"We're excited about our partnership with Digital Lifestyle Outfitters," said Riddick Lynch, a local music promoter and partner in ChazzFest. "There is such a natural and logical fit between our two companies. Clearly, there is the music connection, but moreover we are both young, rapidly growing and cutting-edge."

Festival organizers also released the final festival performance schedule, which will feature music from noon to 10 p.m. on four stages throughout the Family Circle Tennis Center. Complete schedule found on page 2.

The inaugural ChazzFest will also feature foods of the region, an artisans' village and a children's play area, allowing the entire family to experience the rich musical, food and arts tradition of South Carolina.

Tickets are available online at www.etix.com, at the Family Circle Tennis Center Box Office, Charleston area Cat's Music/Monster Music & Movies and by calling 800-514-ETIX. Admission is $35 for adults ($45 day of), $5 for children aged 6 to 12 ($10 day of), children under 6 free and $25 advance for students ($35 day of). A limited number of reserved lower level tickets in the Stadium are also available for $75 in advance and $100 day of.

A portion of the festival's proceeds will be donated to three charities; VH-1's Save the Music, the African American History Museum in Charleston, and the American College of the Building Arts.
