So you went out and dropped $399 for one of those spiffy new 60GB video iPods. You obviously want to protect your investment, and there are numerous companies out there that offer protective cases for the devices, despite the fact that they have only been available for a little over a month.

One of the nicest we've seen so far comes from a company located right here in Charleston. Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) now offers a case that would make any business executive proud. Constructed of supple, hand-stitched leather, the DLO PodFolio fits both the 30GB and 60GB video iPods, which are considerably more slender than the fourth-generation iPods and iPod Photos. The PodFolio features a padded protective flip cover, as well as a leather covered belt clip that can double as a money clip.

In addition to looking good, the PodFolio protects your video iPod from nicks and scratches, and the music player can be accessed while still inside the case. Headphones can also be attached through an opening in the top of the PodFolio.
