News and NotesWith all the doom and gloom on Wall Street it is encouraging to see that the average wage for reporting Digital Corridor companies continues to outpace local and state averages. In 2008 companies reported an average wage of $76,144, more than double the average annual wage for the State of South Carolina and the Charleston-North Charleston statistical metropolitan/non-metropolitan area. Companies participating in the survey also reported employment growth of 213 employees over the past twelve months reaffirming my belief that Charleston’s knowledge economy remains strong. 5th Annual Corridor BASH!Thanks to everyone who didn’t let a little rain spoil a good time at the 5th Annual Corridor Bash!
