Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation Announces 2015-16 Board Of Directors

CHARLESTON, S.C. – September 1, 2015 – The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation is pleased to announce three new members to its distinguished Board of Directors - Valerie Sessions, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Charleston Southern University and SPAWAR computer scientist; Mitchell Davis, Founder & CEO of Bibliolabs; and Peter Woodhull, Founder & CEO of Modus21.

These accomplished tech professionals join currently seated members Kirk King, President and CEO of CSS; Benefitfocus Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Howell, Boeing's Director of Engineering Systems, Bradley Elmenhurst and Eric Wages, Google's Berkeley County Data Center Site Operations Manager.

The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation, established in 2004 as a 501(c) 6 non-profit corporation, supports the development of Charleston's tech economy through an expanded array of programming and networking to benefit Charleston's tech community. Board members serve a two-year term.

By listening and successfully addressing the needs of Charleston's tech community, the Digital Corridor has become a model of community-sourced strategy. As the Digital Corridor transitions to a privately lead organization with public support, the role of the Foundation is central to setting goals on how Charleston's tech community is served.
