Benefitfocus Release

Web Portal Provides Benefits Management Across 28 Locations

Charleston, S.C. – October 25, 2011 – Benefitfocus today announced that Faurecia has partnered with Benefitfocus for employee benefits management and communication. Faurecia is the sixth largest automotive supplier in the world, providing design, development and manufacturing expertise in automotive seating, emissions control technologies, interior systems and automotive exteriors. Headquartered in France, Faurecia's customer portfolio features nearly every automaker around the world. The company employs more than 6,000 benefits-eligible employees in 28 locations throughout the United States.

Faurecia sought a more comprehensive portal to simplify the management of its unique benefit plans. With HR InTouch, Faurecia employees log into an online portal and enroll in their benefits including medical, dental, vision, prescription, short and long term disability, life and the Employee Assistance Program. Faurecia will utilize the BENEFITFOCUS(r) Platform and HR InTouch to effectively communicate benefits plan information while giving employees immediate access to all their benefits information in one convenient location.

"Faurecia is pleased to implement the Benefitfocus Platform to streamline benefits enrollment and employee communication. The configurability and flexibility of the Platform was a key consideration in selecting Benefitfocus," said Mark Schmink, Vice President of Human Resources for Faurecia North America. "The ability to communicate personalized messages and use video to explain benefits information ensures that employees make educated decisions about their health."

Delivered via Software as a Service, HR InTouch enables Faurecia's employees to log in from any computer to enroll in their benefits. Employees have access to HR InTouch's wellness resources, HR Knowledgebase and a video library that contains more than 280 healthcare, benefit, HR and wellness topics. In addition, employees only see benefits plans for which they are eligible, allowing the HR team to easily manage various benefits across multiple locations.

"We are proud to provide benefits software to Faurecia, a company that is known for its culture of continuous progress and commitment to excellence," said Shawn Jenkins, President and CEO of Benefitfocus. "Benefitfocus technology will simplify Faurecia's benefits management, allowing their employees to focus on the cutting-edge innovations that make Faurecia a global player in the automotive industry."

Faurecia is live on the Benefitfocus Platform, and its more than 6,000 employees will elect their benefits online during Open Enrollment. Throughout the year, employees will use the portal to modify their benefits selection due to life event changes, update their personal information, view personalized messages from HR and watch videos on common healthcare topics.
