The iFive:K Run/Walk/Shuffle: Five kilometers through three hundred years of history

The Digitel

Dubbed the "Innovator's 5K" the 5th Annual iFive:K is back on Thursday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m.

Start and finish lines are at the Charleston Maritime Center and the course winds through historic, downtown Charleston and finishes with a post-race celebration at the Charleston Maritime Center overlooking the Harbor.

Registration is limited to the first 750 registrants with no race day registrations. It's $30 and register before April 1 to snag the early registration fee of $25.00

New to this year's race is a team award–-the PeopleMatter "SPIRIT" Award. You don't have to be the fastest to win the award, but you do have to have the most spirit! Participants will be judged based on several items, including: social media interaction, level of participation, sportsmanship, team cheers, team costumes/shirts, etc.

iFive:K teams of two, six and 10 are invited to participate. PeopleMatter will present the winning team with a $250 food and beverage voucher to Taco Boy in downtown Charleston.

The iFive:K is presented by Comcast Business Class and the Charleston DigitalCorridor Foundation. The Charleston Digital Corridor is a creative effort to attract, nurture and promote Charleston's knowledge economy. Recognizing that talent is the key driver of a knowledge economy, the Digital Corridor has developed the Digital Corridor Scholarship to benefit students seeking education in a technology-related field.
