Life Cycle Engineering Joins SANS Training Center Partnership Program

Life Cycle Engineering Press Release

CHARLESTON, SC, – March 8, 2011 – Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is now a member of the SANS Training Center Partnership (TCP) Program. SANS (which stands for SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Security) is the most trusted and the largest source for information security training and certification in the world. Established in 1989 as a cooperative research and education organization, its programs now reach more than 350,000 security professionals, auditors, system administrators, network administrators, chief information security officers and CIOs who share the lessons they are learning and jointly find solutions to the challenges they face.

The TCP Program allows Life Cycle Engineering to offer SANS award-winning training courses in the Charleston area through the SANS Mentor Program. This program, which offers a multi-week format, allows students to attend classes right in their local area without having to travel, incur extra costs, and be away from home or office for a week or more. The multi-week format also allows students to better absorb and apply the knowledge they learn during each training session.

The first SANS Mentor Course, "Security 504: Hacker Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling" will begin May 3, 2011. Subject Matter Expert Timothy Falls of Life Cycle Engineering's Applied Technology Group will mentor the course which will meet for 10 weeks, one evening a week for two hours.
