Life Cycle Institute Partners with Red Hat, Inc., VMware and CMPIC to bring Information Technology Course Offerings to Charleston, SC

CHARLESTON, SC, - June 5, 2009 - The Life Cycle Institute has partnered with Red Hat, Inc., VMware and CMPIC to launch three new information technology offerings at Life Cycle Engineering's Charleston, SC campus.

Options include the Red Hat Certified Engineer™ Rapid Track course, VMware Infrastructure 3.5: Install and Configure course, and Configuration Management Principles and Implementation Certification program. Red Hat Certified Engineer™ Rapid Track is a 5-day course designed for UNIX- and Linux-experienced users, networking specialists, and system administrators. Intensive training on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 is provided with a RHCE Certification Lab Exam on day 5.

Launched in 1999, the RHCE certification is one of the largest performance-based Linux certification programs. VMware Infrastructure 3.5: Install and Configure is a 4-day course for system administrators, systems engineers, and operators responsible for ESX Server and/or VirtualCenter. Participants will explore installation, configuration, and management of VMware Infrastructure 3, which consists of VMware ESX Server and VMware VirtualCenter. Upon completion of this course, individuals can take the examination to become a VMware Certified Professional. The Configuration Management (CM) Principles and Implementation Certification program, made up of four 2-day courses, has been developed for personnel directly responsible for overall CM success. A solid foundation in Configuration Management is provided and participants will obtain a thorough understanding of configuration management principles, processes, tools and workflows. Students will learn how to achieve integration to provide an effective and efficient enterprise solution.
