HomeDock HD Unleashes iPod Content to the Big Screen - in High Definition

High-definition is coming to the industry-acclaimed DLO HomeDock with the unveiling of HomeDock HD - the all new on-TV entertainment dock that connects a user's iPod to any HDTV, letting them enjoy their favorite video content on their TV with the highest picture quality available. The new HomeDock HD will be shown this week in the DLO booth at MacWorld Expo in San Francisco (South Hall Booth #732).

Shipping in Spring 2008, the HomeDock HD upconverts iPod video to 1080i or 720p through an HDMI connection, yet still maintains compatibility with analog TVs via its S-Video connection. And, with its optical digital audio output users are ensured a completely digital iPod experience. HomeDock HD will be available from national iPod retailers for $249.99.

In addition to providing superior audio and video output, the new HomeDock HD also features an all-new RF remote control, enabling users to control their iPod playback from up to 100 feet away - even through walls.

Additionally, the enhanced on-TV interface of the HomeDock HD features album art in an icon-based visual flow format for an exceptional user experience. The HomeDock HD will be available in Q2 for $249.99.
