Windows Phone 7 Hack Event

2/23/12

When: February 23, 2012 from 6:30pm to 9pm
Where: BoomTown  635 Rutledge Ave. Charleston, SC 29403
Organized By: Micah Martin

Event Description:

Brian Hitney, Microsoft Developer Evangelist, will be joining us this month to present Windows Phone 7 and Microsoft Azure. Bring a laptop, lots of questions, and app ideas. He will be giving away Windows 7 phones to anyone who wants to build an app for it. Phones are limited so preference will be given to those who already have a Windows Phone developer account ($99) or who have a prototype or documentation and a business plan already outlined.

Here's a list of tools that would be beneficial to install prior to the event:

Visual Studio

Windows 7 SDK

Windows Azure SDK

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a hobbyist just getting started you wont want to miss this event. If getting a free phone isn't incentive enough there will also be free pizza and beer.

See more details and RSVP on Alt.Net Charleston.
