Are you an experienced Foursquare user who’s the mayor of multiple places? Or do you still think Foursquare is a game your mom played with she was a kid?
Either way, we want you to join Digital Corridor Member StepAhead for a “square up” in honor of National Foursquare Day, a fun initiative designed to promote the use of the hot new social media tool: Foursquare.
Why should you “be square” and come to this event?
That’s right, StepAhead is giving away an iPod Touch at the event! You get one entry just for showing up, then you can get up to four more entries for every place you’ve “checked in” on Foursquare that day. Just bring your phone and show us.
AND, they’ll be giving away some silly prizes to regular Foursquare users like to the person who’s the mayor of the most places or who checks in at the most Starbucks, etc.
If you’re clueless about Foursquare, that’s OK, here’s a blog post to get you started or contact StepAhead via email to get a quick tutorial or for more information on this event.
Be there or be square!
Note: Parking available in the Galliard Auditorium garage, 77 Calhoun St.
