Despite the downturn in the economy this past year, many Charleston employers are not merely growing, but thriving. An area of focus for the Digital Corridor is to help attract and retain top talent to the area that provides a rich pool of candidates to companies to support their continued growth. One of the best ways to accomplish this is to encourage a knowledge-share among local companies around workforce development, HR issues and growth strategies.
At the September "Friday’s @ the Corridor" on September 18, 2009, we invited executives and hiring managers to an open discussion about their current and future needs around workforce development and discussed how a community of local employers, working together, can stimulate growth to our local economy.
