Position Summary

CarePoint has been providing software tools and solutions to the full range of pharmacy types for over 18 years. Our clients include retail, hospital, assisted living, hospice, and mail order pharmacies, as well as community clinics and correctional facilities, throughout the United States. We are currently looking to add an experienced Software Quality Assurance Tester to our team in our Charleston, SC office.

The individual we are seeking will work to expand our base of software test methodologies, including requirements gathering, functional testing, performance testing, test plan and test case creation, and automated regression testing.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in establishing software QA test plans and cases
• Familiarity with pharmacy management system software is highly desired
• Strong dedication to quality and a personal pride in thoroughly testing and helping deliver a product that is free of bugs and meets all specifications and requirements
• Strong technical background and an ability to quickly learn and comprehend new and changing technology, its uses, and its effect/relationship to other systems
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows operations
• The ability to look at a product from the viewpoint of all stakeholders involved, including developers, management and customers
• The ability to conduct testing independently as well as in a team environment
• The ability to communicate effectively with product management, development, support and implementation staff, and clients
