As curation of content becomes more important, BiblioLabs is focused on building the tools required to easily select, enhance and re-publish content to appropriate audiences.

Beyond software, we also work directly with organizations to breathe new life into historic books. We are engaged in multiple projects (technical and business development) to help find, enhance and market important historical books.

Position Description:

BiblioLabs is currently seeking a software developer with experience in the following areas:

  • Java and related technologies (EJB3, JBoss, Spring, JUnit, Ant, etc…) (5+ years)
  • XML, XSD, XSLT, (XQuery a plus)
  • Relational Databases
  • Must be proficient in the Linux environment (CentOS / Ubuntu)
  • Experience with the following is a plus: Mule (or other ESB), Hadoop (HDFS/MapReduce), iBatis, Wicket, Apache Mahout (or other machine learning libraries)

The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a highly dynamic, iterative development environment.  The development process used requires the ability to write quality unit and integration tests as well as documentation.

A bachelors degree in computer science (or related field) is generally required. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
