Position Description:

This job is an IA Analyst located in Charleston, SC., working with high tech government agencies. The position provides Information Assurance and Network Security support for U.S. Government programs to ensure they meet all pertinent regulations and guidance. This position provides program security requirements definition, analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, progress reporting, scope changes, and produces quality Information Assurance products.

Responsibilities:

• Earn clients' confidence by demonstrating understanding of program IA requirements. 
• Develop IA documentation including SSAA and appendices Develop and execute test cases supporting the Certification & Accreditation (C&A) process Provide and implement recommendations to achieve program security certification

Experience:

• Information Assurance experience including Certification and Accreditation (C&A),
• Test case development
• SSAA development 
• DITSCAP, DIACAP for government programs 
• Design and implementation of modern security models such as group policies, access control lists, VLAN management, and firewall/IDS configurations across multiple platforms.
•  Demonstrated technical problem solving abilities across multiple platforms Technical WAN/LAN and/or C4ISR experience
• Experience supporting the DoD DIACAP process using DISA STIGs.

Knowledge:

• Technical expert in government Information Assurance & Network Security requirements 
• Specific detailed and conceptual knowledge of computer systems including operating system security and management, fundamental network principles including design and security, and database design and security for Oracle or Microsoft SQL products 
• Working knowledge of government contracts and procedures

Skills/Strengths:

• Security+, SSCP, CCNA or greater, GSEC, CISSP, SCNP, MCSE, MCDBA
• Prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines and produce high quality deliverables. 
• Ability to understand people and task dynamics. 
• Solve highly technical problems related to operating system, application, database, and networking systems including live systems without loss of service. 
• Ability to build and maintain business relationships at all organizational levels Integrity and skill to report facts while maintaining respect of multiple agency employees. 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• BS Engineering or BS Computer Science or comparable degree
