POsition Summary

We are currently recruiting an experienced software developer to help us continue to build our industry-leading, real estate website and CRM platform.  You will be an integral part of a small team of developers and will report to the Director of Software Development and the company founders, all of whom are dedicated to creating the best end-to-end real estate marketing and CRM solution on the market. 

As part of the product team, you will be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of a variety of systems and subsystems that comprise our high-quality, highly scalable web application.   As a senior level engineer, you will be responsible for mentoring other team members, delivering on time and maintaining the overall health, scalability and reliability of our web-based platform.

Performance Profile

• Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions based on JavaScript & AJAX, Microsoft .NET 3.5/4.0, C#, and SQL Server 2008.
• Within the first 3-4 weeks become completely familiar with our product, strategy, code base and development methodologies.
• Within the first month begin learning about and planning your first project.
• Within the first 6-8 weeks participate in and deliver your first feature as part of one of our scheduled releases.
• On a daily basis code and/or refactor with our guiding principals of simplicity and scalability in mind.
• On a daily basis focus on 100% client satisfaction and retention, as the quality of our platform is our most important property.
• Routinely work with the team to refine our evolving best practices & coding standards to keep the code clean, simple, robust, scalable and manageable.
• On an ongoing basis identify and correct problematic SQL queries and potential architectural issues. 
• Identify opportunities for caching, queueing and other scalability strategies.
• Stay abreast of changes in our industry and changes in technology, especially as they relate to each other.

 Skills & Experience

• Expert with C# and the .NET Framework
• Strong experience writing clean, quality, and readable code
• Prior experience working on a scalable, high volume, web based application experience fast growth is a major plus.
• Strong familiarity with and use of common software and scalability design patterns.
• Strong experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 and T-SQL programming, stored procedures, views and indexes.
• Strong Experience web programming with ASP.NET / HTML / JavaScript / CSS / AJAX
• Experience with SCRUM or other Agile Development Methodologies
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes

Other Relevant Skills

• Experience developing web-based CRM software
• Experience with advanced search and indexing strategies.
• Experience with high volume mail servers, SMTP, MTA.
