In addition to eThority's robust operational data store, we've created a “user-obvious” interface, unique to today’s BI market. eThority Enterprise virtually allows all users within an organization the unique ability to easily access and interact with complex data crucial to their individualized business needs. In essence, we've enabled our customers to create a data democracy so the average non-technical user can securely access critical data from multiple data sources while providing them the ability to analyze data in an exceedingly self evident way--with no software training required. Users can create in-depth, meaningful reports that take data visualization to a whole new level; without the need of a technical expert.

Due to rapid company growth, eThority, Inc.. is currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced Software Developer to contribute to the development of our new business intelligence product, eThority Enterprise Edition This is an outstanding opportunity to use the latest development tools such as ActionScript 3, Flex 3, Flash, java, VB.Net plus a variety of database technologies including, but not limited to, T-SQL, PL-SQL, MDX, Ranking and Pivoting.

We are looking for people who are experts in their current technology who can translate their expertise to these new technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to work with a talented and highly cohesive development team and have fun doing it. Friendly office banter is always encouraged.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in application systems development using object oriented technologies (java, Visual Basic, J2EE, C++, .Net)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience writing Complex SQL, Windows and web-based applications
  • Ability and desire to adapt to newest development technologies
  • Ability to accurately develop new application requirements as well as modify existing application requirements
  • Dedication to using source code control systems. (i.e. Vault, Source Safe, etc…)
  • Strong unit testing skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Practical business knowledge
  • Outgoing personality and sense of humor
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience.
