Makelab Charleston  is hosting an Intro to 3D Printing. This class will introduce you to the following:

• Basic principles behind 3D printing.
• How to select a quality 3D printing bot and how to properly maintain it
• How to design objects for printing, and where to find open source things to print.

The instructors have years of experience building 3D printers and designing digital objects using 3D design software. They are planning to design an Arduino Uno board enclosure within this class. We will have a follow up class to do advanced design and more hands on with the printer at a later date.

Requirements:

1. Install and have an account setup for Autodesk Fusion 360 (for Mac or windows). It is free 30 days. 2) Bring a mouse if you have one. It will make navigation much easier.
